Topic: hello
just thought i would take this oppertunity to introduce myself, i have cmt type 2, i first noticed i had problems when i was a 11 but it was not until i was 17 that i found out it was cmt. im now 26, over the years my feet and now hands have weakend. however i try and not stop the cmt stop what i want to do. i work in a hospital as a porter and even altough i have splints to help me walk i love my job, i also play snooker, (bit hard to imagine when i cant button my shirt or trousers) however i represented scotland at the european championships last year. i have a very supportive family and now a wife who nevr let me feel sorry for myself but at the same time give me the most amazing backing when i need it. i hope i can give some advice to people with the condition or help in someway to the site or charity in which ever way i can.
william thomson (strathclyde) scotland.
