Medical Alert

Having CMT does mean that there are certain issues which we must be careful about.  You can read more about the potential risks of anaesthetics on this site.

There are also certain drugs which have a potential for causing neuropathy.   We do stress that - they only have a POTENTIAL for causing neuropathy - this does not mean they will necessarily worsen CMT - just that there is need for caution, and for ensuring that ALL drugs are discussed in full with your medical professionals.
