Administrator / Communications Coordinator

CMTUK is looking to recruit someone for the above position.

Administrator/Communications Coordinator (Part-time) 

25 hours per week 

£22,500 pro rata 

Monday to Friday 9am – 2pm (some flexibility may be possible). Occasional weekend/evenings may be required.  

CMTUK is a charity that supports people living with Charcot Marie Tooth disease, a group of peripheral neuropathies. 

Context – Raising awareness of CMT and CMTUK is one of the main aims of CMTUK. Along with supporting members, this role will build on the existing communications, and activities to achieve this aim whilst conforming with the CMTUK branding. 

We are looking for an Administrator/Communications Coordinator to join our passionate team at a really important time in the charity’s development. This role is central to getting the message right and in getting it to the right people. 

Job Purpose – To provide excellent communications to members and other stakeholders and to provide administrative support for the efficient management of the charity. 

CMTUK is seeking the right candidate for this role which will be building on our existing communications using social media, traditional methods (magazine/newsletters) to promote awareness of Charcot Marie Tooth and growing the charity’s membership. 

The role will include supporting and developing a network of support groups, updating the website, running awareness and fundraising campaigns and will include some administration tasks.
