We provide support for young people with CMT.

If you’re feeling down…

Having CMT and being young as well is really, really tough, and sometimes, you might need a little bit of extra support to assist you through your problems.

These organisations below all provide support to people under 18.

Samaritans

Anyone can contact Samaritans. They offer a safe place for you to talk any time you like, in your own way, no matter how old you are.

SupportLine

SupportLine offers confidential emotional support to children and young adults by telephone, email and post. They can also give you details of counsellors, agencies and support groups throughout the UK.

National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS)

NYAS is a rights-based charity operating across England and Wales for children, young people and adults. They offer a variety of services including a national advocacy helpline, and advocacy for children and young people with disabilities.

Teenage Helpline

Teenage Helpline supports young adults and teenagers by providing advice and support on a variety of issues, online or via email. You can talk to a mentor at Teenage Helpline on any topic – all conversations are completely private.
